Roscommon County Council wishes to remind the farming community and general public that the spreading of slurry is prohibited in County Roscommon until after the 15th January. 

This year additional measures have been introduced which prohibit the spreading of soiled water from the 21st to 31st December. 

These measures are in place to protect our rivers, lakes, ground waters and water supplies.  Protect our environment and report unauthorised slurry spreading at environment@roscommoncoco.ie
